Citywide Childcare
The Citywide Childcare Cooperative (CCC) will bring together community partners to create an innovative Worker Cooperative (WC) childcare start-up in downtown Anchorage. The CCC pilot program launch at First United Methodist Church (FUMC) will establish a full-time childcare center and develop a WC model that can be replicated at other childcare sites.
Phase 1 of the CCC pilot program will launch in June 2025 with a licensed school-age program for 40 children.
Phase 2 will provide care for infants through preschool and is expected to launch in August 2026 with a capacity of 42 children.
